Hyderabad Film Club and Andhra Pradesh Directors Association are jointly making efforts to organise the Second International Film Festival from January 3 to January 10 next year.

Dasari Narayana Rao would be the chairman for the organising committee, while MS Reddy, Dr D Ramanaidu, CC Reddy, C Kalyan, Ramesh Prasad, Nagababu, Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao and Paruchuri Venkateswara Rao would be the advisory committee members.

Ramanaidu says, 'We have decided to hold International Film Festivals in Hyderabad annually and the first festival was organised last year. We are continuing the tradition this year. We have decided to hold International Film Festival in Hyderabad as a fitting reply to the humiliation meted out to the Telugus at the International Film Festival held in Goa.' C Kalyan says, 'There will be a competition in documentaries and the contest is being held to promote the interest among the film makers to produce documentary films. We are announcing about the contest much earlier for the same purpose.'
