• Cochin, Oct.18 (NR): Director Ranjith has once again lashed out against Sivan and has alleged that his film 'Palery Manickyam' was not selected for the Panorama because jury member Sivan had personal grudges against him.
  
  'I had commented during the National Awards declaration that it was not right for relatives of contestants to be present in the jury board. So when I came to know that Sivan was a member of the Panorama selection board, I knew that my film would not be selected,' Ranjith said.
  
  Dr. Biju whose film 'Veetilekkulla Vazhi' was also not selected for the Panorama, sarcastically said that taking into consideration the standard of the films selected, he was glad that his film was rejected.
  
  Sivan however rejected such allegations and said that the films were selected solely on the basis of merit.
  
  Shyamaprasad's 'Electra', Jithu Joseph's 'Mummy and Me', Lenin Rajendran's 'Makaramanju', Premlal's 'Athmakatha' and M T Annur's 'Kalchilambu' are the films that have been selected to the Panorama.
