Suresh Gopi and Parthiban in 'Melvilasom'

- Cochin, Nov.7 (NR): Soorya Krishnamurthy's celebrated play 'Melvilasom' would be made into a movie.
Madhav Ramdas would direct the film that would be scripted by Soorya Krishnamurthy himself.
The film that has the army court as its background would have Suresh Gopi and Parthiban in lead roles. Anoop Menon, Thalaivasal Vijay and Ashokan would form the supporting cast.
The film would be produced by Muhammed Salim under the banner of Mark Moves. The shoot of the film would start this month.
'Melvilasom' would be a January 2011 release.
