3 Idiots' Tamil version has been titled as 'Nanban'

- It's officially announced at last, the Tamil remake of '3 Idiots' is to be called 'Nanban'. The film is being directed by Shankar and stars Vijay, Jiiva, Srikanth and the Telugu sensation Ileana in the lead. This mega venture will also feature Sathyaraj, Sathyan, Anuya and director SJ Suryaah in pivotal roles.
The film shoot has been started already with Jiiva, Srikanth, SJ Suryaah and Sathyaraj in Ooty, and Vijay's portions will be canned from February 25th by Shankar. While the camera will be handled by Manoj Paramahamsa of 'Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya' fame, and Harris Jayaraj is the music director.
