Parthiban's 'Melvilasam' going places

  • Actor-director Parthiban's Malayalam film, 'Melvilasam', directed by Madhav Ramadasan, has been selected to be screened at the Busan International Film Festival, which will be held in South Korea.

The film, which also stars Suresh Gopi, Ahokan, Thalaivasal Vijay and Nizhalgal Ravi in important roles, will be screened in the 'A' Window On Asian Cinema Category. Says an excited Parthiban, "My producer called me up to share the good news. I don't know if I will attend the screening, but I'm glad the film got its due recognition. It's an extremely good movie and I will release the Tamil dubbed version of the same after my 'Vithagan' hits screens. It has been titled 'Ulvilasam'. 'Vilasam' means postal address and 'Ulvilasam', in metaphorical sense, means the depth of humanity. It's a film that every Tamilian should see as it deals with sensitive human emotions,".
