West Indies cricketer Ghris Gayle attended the audio release function of Kannada film 'Killadi Kitti' starring Haripriya raising the hackles of many in the film industry.
The cricketer danced to a number in the film. Haripriya joined him on the stage and performed with the hunk.
Haripriya's three films in three languages are releasing this months. They are Malayalam film 'Tharumpadi Thambiran', Tamil film 'Thulli Ezhundadu Kadhal' and Kannada film 'Killadi Kitti'. Her film 'Bhadrasanam' is in the making.
Chris Gayle, who has set his eyes on the film industry, was among the celebrities invited for the 'Killadi Kitti' audio release. He is in India playing for IPL.
Going by newspaper reports, it seems he is quite serious about foraying into acting. He met Shah Rukh Khan recently when he reportedly joked "I am going to rock Bollywood and take it away from Salman Khan". When an inquisitive mediaperson tried to draw him out, Gayle told him, "Shah Rukh will sort it out for me I am sure. I did not joke about it with SRK, but I am seriously looking for a big break in Bollywood next year. I do see myself doing a Bollywood film and even music videos for that matter. Gaylestorm will hit Bollywood soon".
His attending the audio release function and shaking legs with Haripriya may be his first step. He has not watched a single Bollywood movie in his life. Zinta and Shilpa are the only two Bollywood stars he has met so far. "I am sure all the heroines would want to meet me, just ask them," Chris reportedly said.
