The story is about freeing refugees from Sri Lanka from bonded labour and a family reunion.
Prabhas, his brother Shafi and mother Bhanupriya are Telugus settled in the north-eastern region of Sri Lanka. The political turmoil there forces them to return to India. During their journey to India, young Prabhas is separated from his mother and brother. The boy reaches Vizag and works at the port there. The baddy (Narendra Jha) exploits the refugees by making them bonded labour for life. Prabhas becomes the leader of them and takes on the villain. He not only frees them from the clutches of the villain, but reunites with his mother and jealous brother.
Satish, who has acquired the Tamil dubbing rights, expects the Tamil version to do well as was Rajamouli's earlier film 'Maaveran' and the latest 'Naan Ee'. Shriya has not signed any film with Rajamouli after 'Chatrapati'.
