Giving an outline of the story, he said the film is an action thriller. A politician occupies a cemetery where thousands of British soldiers and prisoners of war were buried during the British period. He builds a motel at the site abutting a national highway. On one night when rain is lashing 11 lodgers get murdered one by one during a period of six hours from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. Who is behind these serial killings at the motel _ whether it a man or an evil spirit? It is a gripping story of suspense.
The 150-minute film is set in rain all through the story. A motel-like set was erected at a cost of Rs. 25 lakh at Pudumbu in Madurai for the shooting of the film. The background score was recorded in a studio in Mumbai by overseas technicians.
