Iniya, Senthil, Ilavarasu and Saranya are featured in 'Kann Pesum Varthaigal', directed by R. Balaji, who earlier wielded the megaphone for 'Uyir'. R. Saravanan produced the film on behalf of Sribalaji Cine Creations.
Balaji talking to mediapersons said Senthil plays a supervisor in the construction industry in Singapore and Iniya does the character of a sales woman in a textile mart. The film essays the love between them. Iniya's role is illustrative of hardships that employees working abroad are going through and how they are facing them. Senthil survives many hardships. But his love with Iniya itself becomes a complex issue. How he gets this problem solved is the climax.
Balaji said since the story happens in a foreign land Iniya came forward to go glamorous but he curbed her enthusiasm and told her only romantic scenes need be glamorous.
The film has been shot in many locations in Singapore.
