Kamal Haasan's forthcoming 'Vishwaroopam' will have the latest Auro 3D sound system. This is a next generation audio format that delivers full three-dimensional sound. Auro 3D is hailed as a groundbreaking new audio technology that combines height-based listening format with powerful creative tools to deliver an unrivalled 3D sound experience.
20th Century Fox's 'Red Tails', an American World War II film (2012), was the only one Hollywood production to have the Auro 3D sound system till now.
This latest innovation in the aural technology is being introduced for the firs time in India for 'Vishwaroopam'.
American sound expert Wilfred Wan Palen came down to Chennai and held discussions with Kamal in this connection.
Kamal has been in talks with 20 theatres in Chennai and at least 25 theatres in Mumbai to have Auro 3D installed for 'Vishwaroopam'.
In view of the fact that the new sound system will not be in place before the end of December, 'Vishwaroopam', the Tamil-Hindi bilingual, will hit the screens only in January, according to sources.
Kamal has directed the film, besides playing the lead role with Pooja Kumar, Andrea and Rahul Bose.
