Los Angeles, Oct 11 (IANS) It was a great script that made actor Ben Affleck say yes to acting and directing movie "Argo".
Affleck plays the role of Tony Mendez, a Central Intelligence Agency officer and his account of how some US officials in Tehran, Iran were rescued by him, reports contactmusic.com.
"I wanted to play him (Tony) because the script was really interesting. It struck me, right away, that you had this thriller and then, in equal measure, this comic Hollywood satire and this really intricate real-life CIA spy story based on truth," he said.
"That seemed like a fantastically interesting and unusual movie to be a part off," he added.
