Nayantara wins Andhra Pradesh State Award

Nayantara has won the Andhra Pradesh Nandhi Award for Best Actress for the year 2011. She bagged the award for her performance as Sita in the Telugu film 'Sri Rama Rajyam'.

'Sri Rama Rajyam' has also won the award for the Best Film. Mahesh Babu received the Best Actor Award and the Best Director Award was given to N Shankar for his movie 'Jai Bolo Telungana'. Prakash raj has adjudged the best supporting actor.

"I am so happy to have been selected for the Nandi award. I gave the role my best. 'Sri Rama Rajyam' is one of the important films in my career," she says.

Nayantara is currently working with Vishnuvardhan for his untitled Tamil project along with Ajith and Arya and in the upcoming Telugu movie 'Love Story' opposite Nagarjuna.
