Ranjith completes 25 years in cinema

- Renowned film maker Ranjith completes 25 years in film industry. He started his career as a scenarist with 'Oru Maymasa Pulariyil' directed by V R Gopinath.
Ranjith has written films of all genres. His earlier films like 'Peruvannapurathe Visheshangal' and 'Orkkapurathu' with director Kamal were laugh riots. While his films like 'Aram Thampuran' and 'Narasimham' were epitomes of action films.
Later he turned an independent director with 'Ravanaprabhu' which was the sequel to 'Devasuram'. However of late he is making simple films with substance like 'Indian Rupee', 'Pranjiyettan and the Saint' and 'Spirit'. His latest release is 'Bavootiyude Namathil' directed by G S Vijayan.
He is also planning to remake 'Indian Rupee' in Hindi which will be produced by Twentieth Century Fox.
