- In a press statement actor Kamal Haasan has said that his Vishwaroopam will be released on Jan 25 in not less than 500 theatres. He thanked the distributors and theatre owners for having understood the vision of creating a revenue stream for the film producing community through DTH. The date of DTH release has not been announced yet.
Vishwaroopam, produced and directed by Kamal has been facing several obstacles. The film has Andrea, Pooja Kumar, Shekar Kapur, Naasar in the lead roles besides Kamal. The magnum opus is a tri-lingual and it is expected that the film will be released simultaneously in all the three languages.
