• Nayanthara who is doing a glamorous role in Vishnuvardhan's Ajith film is doing a
  girl-next door character in Udhayanidhi Stalin's Idhu Kathirvelan Kadhal (IKK). After shooting in Mumbai for Ajith film, she flew to Coimbatore to participate in the shooting of IKK.
  
  She essays the role of Pavithra, a simple, middle-class girl similar to her roles in Yaradi Nee Mohini and Boss Engira Bhaskaran. Director SR Prabhakaran is busy shooting some of the important scenes with her. Udhayanidhi will be joining the shoot in a couple of days.
  
  IKK is a romantic comedy and has Santhanam and Sundar Ramu in important roles. Balasubramaniam is cranking the camera and Harris Jayaraj is composing the music. The film is produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin's home production under the banner of Red Giant Movies.
