These days are so busy for Fahad Fazil who happened to be the most sought after star in Malayalam cinema. He is literally running from sets to sets, locations to locations to complete the shoot of his films. Probably he is the lead actor in Malayalam with most number of projects in hand.
His busy schedule is being reflected in his releases also. Probably after a very long gap a lead actor is having two releases in the same week. 'Red Wine' and 'Amen', both starring Fahad in lead roles released on the 21st and 22nd of March 2013.
In 'Red Wine' directed by Salam Bappu, Fahad dons the role of a social activist while in Lijo Pelliserry's 'Amen' he plays Solomon a sacristan of a church in Kuttanad.Though he shared screen space in both the movies with other noted actors, according to reports it is Fahad who steals the show.
Fahad is particular in not being typecast and his role in each film is different and versatile. From the boy next door image of his debut film he has come a long way. He essayed roles as different as street smart metro youth and simple village guy with the same ease. His penchant for variety and experiment was also instrumental in his meteoric rise in Malayalam cinema.
