- The South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce (SIFCC) will be celebrating 100 years of Indian cinema in a unique manner. As part of the celebrations, SIFCC will be honouring the film celebrities from across India. They also plan to come up with a new office building in Anna Salai in Chennai. The new building will have three preview theatres with all the facilities, including 3D and a seating capacity between 90 and 250 seats.
The highlight is that actors Suriya and Karthi have donated one crore for the construction of the building. They want to name one of the screens in the name of their parents, Sivakumar and Lakshmi Sivakumar.
