After his directorial debut 'Shutter', though Joy Mathew has plans for a second movie, he is getting busier with his acting career. He has done impressive roles in 'Annayum Rasoolum' and 'Amen'.
Now he has a good number of projects lined up with acting offers, mainly in the father role of the lead character. In Jinu Daniel's 'Rasputin', Joy Mathew will don the father of Vinay Fort. He plays the father of Nivin Pauly in the cricket based movie '1983'.
In Aadi's 'Pranayakatha', he dons the father of the anchor turned actor Govindankkutty. He will also be the father of Dulquer Salman in the upcoming flick 'Neelakasham, Pachakkadal, Chuvanna Bhoomi' directed by Samir Thahir.
Joy Mathew also does a different role in 'Zachariyayude Garbhinikal'. He says he is enjoying his acting career very much. In the meantime he is penning scripts and has plans for his next directorial venture also.
