With the cabinet approving the formation of a separate Telangana state and the united state supporters planning for intensifying the protests in all forms, it looks like Tollywood is in for more problems. Recently for a week during the release of Pawan Kalyan's Attarintiki Dharedi things seem to have settled down. The film got huge response and became an all-time record hit.
Moreover the film was not stopped from screening in both Telangana and Seemandhra regions. This was a positive sign and Tollywood was relishing that everything has got back to normalcy. But now with yesterday's cabinet approval to Telangana state formation and Hyderabad as its capital, the stir is being intensified in Seemandhra region. A 72-hour bandh is being declared all over the state. Now the fate of upcoming films like Ramayya Vastavayya, Bhai, Masala, etc are not known.
