Los Angeles, Jan 24 (IANS) Actor Aaron Eckhart, who plays the lead role in "I, Frankenstein", says he is greatly influenced by director Christopher Nolan.

Eckhart had portrayed the role of Harvey Dent, who has a half-disfigured face, in the 2008 film "The Dark Knight" directed by Nolan.

"I draw a lot of influence from Chris Nolan. I am hugely inspired from his kind of cinema," Eckhart said in a statement.

Directed by Stuart Beattie, Eckhart is seen as a superhuman being created from science using various parts of corpses and electricity in "I, Frankenstein".

The movie will release Jan 31 in India.
