• Chennai, Sep 19 (IANS) Action king Arjun's "Marudumalai" has got a fantastic opening across Tamil Nadu and has even toppled "Sivaji: The Boss" to reach the top.
  
  The top five Tamil films are:
  
  1. "Marudumalai" - Director: Suraj. A masala film of Arjun that reminds one of "Kireedam" but the comedy scenes between Arjun and Vadivel have gone in the film's favour.
  
  2. "Ammuvagia Naan" - Director: Padma Magan. The success of this sensitively made film on a sex worker has surprised many. Kudos to the team for their courage!
  
  3. "Sivaji" - Director: Shankar. The blockbuster is going to celebrate 100 days now.
  
  4. "Urchagam" - Director: Ravichandran. The film was released without any fanfare and got an average opening but its collections are getting better by the day.
  
  5. "Arya" - Director: Balasekhar. With the success of "Arya", a typical formula entertainer, R. Madhavan has strengthened his fan base in B and C centres.
