- After the success of 'Engaeyum Eppothum', its director Saravanan seems to be a hot property in Kollywood. The director, whose first projects was produced by his mentor A R Murugadoss's production house along with a Hollywood banner, is now in talks with director Lingusamy for his next.
We had earlier reported that Lingusamy was mighty impressed with Saravanan's debut effort and had offered to produce his next venture under his banner. Saravanan had a meeting with Lingusamy and the two discussed scripts for a while. The latest buzz is that Saravanan has zeroed in on a script for his next and has approached Arya with the same.
A well-informed source reveals, "Saravanan met Arya recently and narrated a one-liner. The actor has agreed to do the film in principle. While the deal is yet to be signed, the project will go on floors after Arya finishes his portions in 'Vettai', which is directed by Lingusamy,".
Interestingly, the actor is also likely to work under the same banner for a film with Vasantha Balan, who is currently busy with the period film 'Aravaan'.
