Bala ropes in Vedhika for 'Pardesi'

- Actress Vedhika, who has done ten films including six in Tamil, is currently acting in Bala's big project 'Pardesi' opposite Atharva.
She says this year has been special for her. She has received the Nandi Award for her performance in the Telugu film 'Baanam'.
Vedhika does not intend shifting from her hometown Mumbai to where her films are shot. Her people are in Mumbai and she doesn't want them to relocate for her convenience, she said in a media chat.
What more, she found the Tamil film industry has been her comfort zone right from her first film 'Madrasi' She considered 'Kaalai' as her favourite.
"Tamil films offer a lot of scope for performance. They challenge an actor to perform to the best of her abilities and I deliver the best under such demanding conditions,' she added.
Speaking about Bollywood, Vedhika said she is yet to come across a good script that would excite her.
