• Deepika Padukone,who will play the lead role opposite Rajinikanth in 'Kochadaiyaan' was in Chennai on Feb. 14. The visit was part of the preparations being made to commence shooting of the film.
  
  She has to have a special make-up. She was scanned to evaluate her looks, skin tone and body movements. She also underwent certain other procedures.
  
  For the first time in India, the performance capturing technology will be used for making 'Kochadaiyaan'.
  
  Rajinikanth's three-minute 'Siva thandavam' will be one of the highlights of the film.The dance will be choreographed by Sivashankar master.
  
  The film unit will be leaving for London in the first week of March to shoot the numbers composed by A.R. Raman.
