• Martial arts legend Jakie Chan will launch the audio of "Dasavatharam" in which Kamal Haasan is featured in ten roles. The function will be held at the Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai in the second week of March. The exact date would be finalized soon.
  
  Dasavatharam, touted as Kamal's "magnum opus", has been directed by K.S. Ravikumar and produced by Oscar Ravichandran.
  
  Ravichandran and his brother Ramesh Babu, who is the distributor of Jakie Chan films in Tamil, met Chan at his residence in Kowloon, Hong Kong a couple of days ago to get his confirmation. During the meeting, Jackie watched clippings from 'Dasavatharam' and listened to the CD. On their return to Chennai, Ravichandran and Ramesh Baby announced that Chan had accepted their offer and has confirmed his visit to Chennai. According to them, Chan expressed amazement at Kamal's playing ten roles in a film.
  
  Jackie Chan had hosted a party at a star hotel in Hong Kong on the same night which was attended by about 100 guests and made a public announcement that it was his immense pleasure to attend the Chennai function.
  
  Ramesh Babu told mediapersons that Chan is a person who seldom attends public functions. It is the first time that he is attending a function of this nature in his career.Chan expressed surprise when told that Kamal had been acting since he was three years old.
  
  Bollywood celebrities like Amitabh Bhachchan and Aishwarya Rai and Tollywood star Chiranjeei have already agreed to attend the function. South Indian stars including Mohan Lal, Mammooty, Upendra and Nagarjuna also would be invited, Ravi said.
