• Director Samuthirakani has signed up actor Jayam Ravi for his new film.
  
  Vasan Visuals Ventures K.S. Srinivasan, who produced 'Boss Engira Bhaskaran' and 'Vanthaan Venraan', will produce Samuthirakani's latest.
  
  According to the director, it is a big budget film. Jayam Ravi will have a new look and appear in three get-ups. The film will have a story that is an outpouring of anger against society. It is about bringing about social changes through a social revolution. The plot revolves around a social issue, which angered the director.

  he name of the heroine and others in the cast and technicians are yet to be finalized.
  
  Samuthirakani has also signed up Kannada actor Puneeth Rajkumar to feature in a Kannada remake of 'Porali'. Puneeth has earlier acted in the Kannada remake of 'Nadodigal'.
  
  The plan is to shoot both the Tamil and Kannada films simultaneously.
