Kamal still in quest for ladylove

  • Kamal Haasan still does not seem to have found the right heroine to romance for his upcoming action film 'Viswaroopam'.

It all started with 'Dabangg's Sonakshi Sinha signing on Kamal Haasan's 'Viswaroopam' and then supposedly opting out since the project couldn't take off in July. However, there were rumours that she 'was asked to leave' as she didn't develop a lean physique for the film. Meanwhile, Deepika Padukone had also apparently been offered Rajini's 'Rana' and Kamal's spy thriller but the young diva chose the former. Vidya Balan, who is also said to have been approached, turned down the film for reasons that are unknown.

Once it was clear that none of the above mentioned Bollywood actresses had signed on the film, Sonam Kapoor's name was suddenly doing the rounds but she clearly denies being approached by Kamal. Soon after, Isha Sharvani's name cropped up. She is also believed to have been roped in for 'Viswaroopam', but clearly not in a role opposite Kamal. Nevertheless, latest sources say that the '180' girl Priya Anand was called for a screen test by Kamal but the actor's spokesperson denied this.

Now, it looks like Kamal has zeroed in on none other than the Bollywood girl who has made Kollywood home, Sameera Reddy! A source says, "Sameera Reddy has been approached by the makers recently to play a role in 'Viswaroopam,'. Although, as the actress is busy shooting for 'Vettai' and 'Vedi', and Kamal is out of country, they haven't yet got an opportunity to meet and discuss the movie. Once that happens, a clear picture will emerge,". From Sonakshi to Sameera, Kamal's search for a Bollywood heroine for 'Viswaroopam' clearly continues. Who will turn out to be the lucky one? Only time will tell.
