• Playback singer Mano's son Shakir, who was part of 'Naanga', plays hero in an upcoming film 'Thedinen', directed by A.C. Soundar.
  
  Playing opposite Shakir are Lakshmi Nair and Divya Nagesh.
  
  A music college lecturer, Ilanthirayan, is the music director for the film. This is his first film in Tamil. He has composed songs for films in other languages.
  
  'Thedinen' is a family entertainer with five songs and an interesting comedy track. Soundar says Ilanthirayan has "excellently" scored the songs.
  
  Giving a gist of the story, the director says the hero is such a character that he is always concerned about others and never about his life or career and the two girls bring about transformation in his life.
