• Naan Kadavul, director Bala's fourth film after Sethu, Pithamagan and Nanda, is all ready for release.
  
  The film is reportedly slated for a Pongal release or at the latest by the end of the month. Naan Kadavu', which has been in the making for over two years, has Arya in a totally different role. Pooja, who had played the heroine in films like Jay Jay, Panthayakozhi etc, is the lead lady in Naan Kadavul.
  
  Set against the holy city of Varanasi, the film has been censored with a U/A certificate on December 31, 2008, and the audio release function was held on New Year day. The audio was released in a function graced by the presence of eminent film personalities like Mani Ratnam, Vikram, Suriya, Balu Mahendra, Ameer, Cheran, Prakash Raj etc. Vaali has written the songs for the film, which have been set to tune by Illaiyaraja. Uttam Singh has also been brought in to score the background music.
