  • Tollywood actor Sidhu Jonnalagadda, who shot to fame post his role in 'Love Before Marriage'(LBW), has signed 'Vallinam' and he will play villain against Nakul who dons the role of basketball player. Bindu Madhavai is the heroine.

National Award winner Atul Kulkarni has also been roped in. He will play the role of a basketball coach in the film.

On the casting of Sidhu, Director Arivazhaan of 'Eeram' fame said he wanted some one who could look bratty and at the same time stylish for the nagative role and Sidhu is cut out for the role.

Of Atul Kulkarni, Arivazhagan said he would perfectly fit the coach character. "I wanted someone who would come across as a no-nonsense person for the role. Atul has that force, both physique wise and performance wise. His eyes are so sharp that you can feel the intensity behind the look."

Atul comes from a theatre background and is also involved in films in many languages. "I can easily extract the performance that I want from him," Arivazhagan is reported to have stated.

Arivazhagan has already started shooting Sidhu's portions. The talkie portions will, in fact, be wrapped up by next month.

Two more songs remains to be picturised and they will be shot in Goa soon. Thaman is the composer.
