• Chennai, Nov 27 (IANS) Vijay's "Azhagiya Thamizh Magan" got a fantastic opening but it is Surya's "Vel" that is at the top after a week. The surprise Deepavali package is "Polladhavan" which makes it to number three in the list of Tamil blockbusters.
  
  The top five Tamil films are:
  
  1. "Vel"- Director: Hari. The director has made a neatly packaged film, which has gone down well with the B and C centre crowd.
  
  2. "Azhgiya Thamizh Magan" - Director: Bharathan. With each passing day, this Vijay film is being pushed to the back. In another week, Dhanush's "Polladhavan" is sure to overtake this masala-less film.
  
  3. "Polladhavan"- Director: Vetrimaran. This is the surprise hit of Deepavali. Slickly made on a neat script, the film is going to be a blockbuster of 2007.
  
  4. "Kannamoochi Enada"- Director: Priya. This light comedy has been liked by the multiplex crowd and the number of shows has gone up.
  
  5. "Machakaran"- Director: Tamilvanan. Till a new film is released, this boring film will be in the theatres.
