Up and coming actor Vimal is keen to change his image from a village youth to take on modern characters. His image makeover exercise begins with the film 'Sillunnu Oru Santhippu' in which he plays a lover boy. He has acted as a village youth in many films and now he would like to do modern characters shedding the village youth image.
Vimal stated this at the launch of a single track 'Busse Busse' sung by Vimal in the film SOS, directed by Ravilallin with M.S, Faizal as the composer.
Vimal teams up with Oviya Helen and Deepa Shah in the film.
In a chat with mediapersons, Ravilallin said there is a limit to sacrifices and compromises that one can make for the sake of love and the film drives home this point succinctly. People meet one another for various reasons, but a meeting between lovers is a joyous moment, which brings with it a sense of refreshing feel. Hence the film is titled 'Sillunnu Oru Santhippu'.
S. Nandagopal is producing the film for Madras Enterprise.
