• Completing 'Mirattal' Bangalore-based actor Vinay Rai has signed director Ahmed's next film 'Endrendrum Punnagai', a slice-of-life musical, which also stars Jiiva, Trisha and Santhanam.
  
  Shiva was one of those considered by Ahmed to play the role, which is now offered to Vinay, according to Ahmed.
  
  Vinay has started working on 'Iruvar Ullam' in which he plays the hero. Bindu Madhavi is one of the two heroines. The second may be from Bollywood. Cameraman G. Ramesh directs it. Vinay says it has a great script, which deals with the cultural ethos of Indians who move to the US. The film is to be set in India and US.
  
  'Mirattal', directed by R. Madesh, is up for release. It has Vinay Rai, Sharmila Mandre, Prabhu, Pradeep Rawat, Pandiaraj, Santhanam and Ganja Karuppu in the cast.
  
  Vinay made his debut in 'Unnale Unnale', directed by Jeeva. Sadha and Tanisha Mukherjee paired up with Vinay. The film, released on 14th April 2007, became a big hit.
