- A film on the life and times of Gautam Buddha is being made on the 'Dharmapadha' creations banner by industrialist K Rajashekar.
The film is being directed by Allani Sridhar. Parvati Melton plays Amrapali and Sunil Sarma plays Gautam Buddha. Suman plays Bimbisara. The film has some special effects and is currently in DTS mixing mode. Puneet Issar, Surendrapal, Rajashekar, Kausha and Ashok Kumar play prominent roles in the film. Music is by Sahi Preetam and the lyrics are by Sirivennela.
