While facing the camera is still their passion, Bollywood denizens have a newfound interest - Dubbing for the Hindi versions of international films.

The trend, which was started by the king khan of Bollywood - Shah Rukh Khan, when he lent his voice to the Hindi version of The Incredibles, is now a must-do-thing on every actor's resume.

Let us introduce you to some of the B-town's recent voiceover artists...

  • Parineeti Chopra

Parineeti is the latest star to join the dubbing bandwagon. The Meri Pyaari Bindu actress has lent her voice to the Hindi version of filmmaker Steven Spielberg's fantasy adventure film - The BFG.

What's interesting is that the 27-year-old actress has dubbed for the 12-year-old female protagonist of the film - Sophie. Now that is what we call an exciting debut.

  • Amitabh Bachchan

Spielberg's The BFG also marks the return of megastar Amitabh Bachchan to the world of animation.

The legendary actor, who is known for his deep baritone last dubbed for the character of Bheeshma Pitamah in the animation flick Mahabharat, and now, the Pink actor has apparently lent his powerful voice for the character of the big friendly giant in the film.

  • Arjun Kapoor

He is another voiceover debutant, who is all set to impress with his vocal charisma in the popular animation franchise - Ice Age.

Arjun has dubbed for the ballsy one-eyed weasel - Buck, in the soon to be released - Ice Age: Collision Course.

Interestingly, the Half Girlfriend actor has mimicked a few Bollywood actors in his voiceover debut, including his uncle Anil Kapoor and his patent jhakaas dialogue.

  • Priyanka Chopra

Our desi Hollywood diva is now a master when it comes to dubbing for international projects.

She marked her voiceover debut as Ishani in Disney's film - Planes and recently the Quantico actress mesmerized us with her sinful voice in the Hindi version of The Jungle Book.

Priyanka as the hypnotic snake Kaa, bewitched not just Mowgli but us too when she said, "Akele ho yahaan?"

  • Irrfan

With his exceptional acting skills and deep voice, Irrfan is a show stealer every time he comes on the screen.

Recently, the versatile Madaari actor yet again won our hearts, but this time only with his voice as he dubbed for the character of Baloo in The Jungle Book. The Punjabi tadka that he added to the character, made Baloo unforgettable.

  • Nana Patekar

Reprising his role of Share Khan from the 90s classic television animated series The Jungle Book, Nana Patekar too is among the many Bollywood actors to have joined the voiceover bandwagon.

Honestly, after the seeing the Hindi version of the film, we aren't complaining.

  • Varun Dhawan

Varun Dhawan too made his dubbing debut this year, but the Dishoom actor chose to be a part of a superhero film instead of an animation flick.

Varun dubbed for Chris Evans character Captain America in the Hindi version of Marvel's Captain America: Civil War.

  • Sonakshi Sinha

Sonakshi who will soon be seen in a brand new avatar in Akira was among the early entrants to join the voiceover club.

She had dubbed for the lovable macaw - Jewel, in the Hindi version of Rio 2.

Well, with a spate of animated and popular Hollywood films awaiting their big Hindi version releases, we wonder who will be the next Bollywood actor to jump on this voiceover train.
