Arun Vaidyanathan to direct Mohanlal

Malayalam Superstar Mohanlal has been signed to play the lead for the Malayalam film "Peruchaazhi", a hilarious comedy penned by 'Achchamundu' fame Arun Vaidyanathan.
Arun Vaidyanathan will direct the film which is set primarily in USA. Mohanlal who read the script is bowled over by the novel idea behind the film and Arun is excited when the actor agreed to play the lead role.
Arun says, "Am a huge fan of Lalettan's humor and he will fit perfectly for the role". The principal shooting will start from the end of this year as soon as the pre production and visa formalities are done. Interestingly, the lead female character will be played by an American actress for which, the search is going on. Arun Vaidyanathan plans to start his next Tamil film for which the official announcement will be made on April 2013.
