Actor Vikram's mention about Rana Daggubati in an interview to some North Indian media has not gone well with actor Rana Daggubati. He has lashed out at Vikram and has asked the actor to focus on his career rather than commenting on other's career.
It has to be recalled that Rana has acted in Rohan Sippy's Dum Maaro Dum and in RGV's Department. While working in Telugu, the actor is looking to make a mark in Bollywood too. It seems actor Vikram is not liking it. Vikram recently did Bejoy Nambiar's David, but the film did not make a mark.
In a media interview Vikram was asked as to why South Indian actors have not managed to find success in Bollywood, Vikram has apparently pointed out Rana's example and said, "Look at Rana Daggubati. He started in the Telugu industry and came to Bollywood but he hadn't made any headway in the south. Now he's not bothered about the Telugu industry. To work in Bollywood, I have to leave everything and come here."
Rana did not like this comments and has come out strongly. Rana tweeted: "Dear Mr.Vikram I see you quote me and my directions in quite a few media interactions of yours recently. It is best if you focus on your career that isn't headed in the right direction with close to 10 odd disasters in your kitty I'm barely 2 1/2yrs old as an actor and you are almost close to 25yrs. Stay put on urs as I am on mine not take anything away still a huge fan of few of your films "
Vikram is doing Shankar's I and all his hopes are pinned on the film as his recent films were not hits in the box office.
Rana is now doing a negative role in S S Rajamouli's Baahubali and essaying the role of a prince in Gunasekhar's Rudrama Devi. Anushka is the heroine of both the films.
