Tiger Shroff to play desi Rambo, is Sylvester Stallone happy?
Abhishree Kulkarni  [ Mon, May 22, 2017 ]
Bollywood youngest action star - Tiger Shroff, who is known for his smooth and super stylish action sequences is all set to step into the shoes of Sylvester Stallone and play the iconic character, Rambo, in its Indian remake.

An enthusiastic Tiger made the announcement through the micro-blogging site twitter, he wrote, "Grew up on this character, humbled and blessed to step into his shoes years later. #RamboRemake."

While his fans are thrilled, the fans of the original 'Rambo' expressed their concern on twitter and even the original Rambo aka Sylvester Stallone too showed a bit of anxiety to the announcement. Sylvester wrote, "I read recently they are remaking Rambo in India !! .. Great character.. hope they don't wreck it."

Tiger quickly responded to the legend with a very humble tweet, "Humbled and blessed to be walking the road u lay down, u r irreplaceable and I hope I don't let you down sir."

Soon after, Sylvester Stallone took to Instagram and posted the poster of Tiger Shroff's 'Rambo' and wrote, "I actually get excited in my heart whenever young artists get a rare opportunity to reach for the stars! Eye of the Tiger! I am sure he will put his heart and soul into it."

Now, that was really sweet!

'Rambo' will be directed by Siddharth Anand, of 'Bang Bang' fame. And according to a report, the Indian 'Rambo' will be a story about the last surviving member of a special unit of Indian Armed Forces, who will return to his home only to find it ravaged by the ongoing war.
