And the best kind of trailers, without even revealing too much about the film, make you want to see the movie immediately. Well, some recently released trailers of Bollywood films are having a similar effect on us. These trailers are looking so cool that we can’t simply contain our excitement.

It’s impossible to watch this gripping trailer and not want to see the movie instantly. Starring Amitabh Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu, Kirti Kulhari, Andrea Taring, Angad Bedi and Piyush Mishra, the trailer grabs your attention with its intensity and subject.

The two-minute odd clip perfectly encapsulates the power and thrill of this apparent court room drama.

‘Are you a virgin?’, ‘Did you give a clear indication that at this time I am not interested in sex?’, ‘You are a woman of questionable character’ — Mr. Bachchan’s menacing interrogation gives you the chill and makes you all the more curious.

Directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury the fast-paced trailer stands-out because of the way it mirrors what we have been reading/seeing in the news lately.

The chilling Pink trailer gives you enough reasons to head to cinema halls as soon as the film releases.

Shivaay

This trailer starring Ajay Devgn almost broke the internet on the day of its release and has all the style that defines an international action flick.

What makes it really exciting is the glimpses of action sequences, cinematography, gorgeous locations, haunting background score and some top-notch VFX which is at par with Hollywood.

With only a little peek into what the film could be about, the Shivaay trailer leaves a lot to the imagination.

The trailer is also the first peek at how well Ajay Devgn has transformed from an actor to a director.

The first reaction when you see the Freaky Ali trailer is a wide grin, which is immediately followed by another reaction — ‘I have to watch this movie right now.’

In Freaky Ali — as the trailer shows — Nawaz is a local goon, who is passionate about cricket and becomes an ace golfer by chance.

M. S. Dhoni: The Untold Story

A movie that traces the life of our captain cool — Mahendra Singh Dhoni, is definitely a must-watch and ever since the trailer has released we can’t wait to hit the cinema halls chanting “Dhoni, Dhoni, Dhoni…”

Starring Sushant Singh Rajput in the titular role, the trailer perfectly encapsulates the trials and tribulations that Dhoni had gone through before finally fulfilling his dream to play for the Indian cricket team.

The energy and charisma of Dhoni, which the trailer has captured make us look forward to the film.

Honestly, we don’t know what Mirzya starring newcomers Harshvardhan Kapoor and Saiyami Kher is all about other than the fact that it’s a love story, but looking at its trailer one can be certain that it will transport you into a different world.

Director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra paints an exquisite tableau in his three-and-a-half-minute trailer and makes you wonder if the film revolves around the popular Mirza-Sahiban tale.

The trailer has whetted our appetite and we can’t wait to be served with this grand spectacle.

Akira

This is one trailer that makes your jaws drop. Especially because its shows the Dabangg girl in a brand new avatar.

Gone is the girl you saw romancing all the top stars of Bollywood onscreen, Sonakshi Sinha in Akira is lethal, literally. She is fighting everyone – from college bullies to corrupt officials like Anurag Kasyap.
