Hema Malini


Dream girl of Bollywood contested for the 2014 general elections from Mathura, where she kissed victory.


She along with her husband Dharmendra has been an active politician and a member of Lok Sabha for quite some time.


Initially, she was campaigning for Vinod Khanna in 1999 Lok sabha elections. It was in 2004 that she joined BJP and was made the general secretary.





Shabana Azmi


We have seen her contribution towards Indian cinema over the years.


The remarkable actress Shabana Azmi is also known for her tireless activism on social issues like AIDS and improvements of slums, which brought her to Rajya Sabha in 1997.


Thanks to her contribution towards the betterment of society, Shabana Azmi holds a better reputation that many mainstream Indian politicos.





Jaya Bachchan


After a long, satisfying and laudable career in Bollywood, Guddi aka Jaya Bachchan shifted focus to social service and eventually to politics.


She started off her Bollywood career with Samajwadi Party and later on shifted her loyalties to Rajya Sabha.

The evergreen diva of Bollywood, Rekha is not associated with any particular political party.


It was in 2012 that she was nominated as a Rajya Sabha MP and since then, the gorgeous actress has been working towards issues including children’s development, environment and culture.





Moon Moon Sen


The super sensuous Bollywood beauty of her times, Moon Moon Sen joined Trinamool Congress in March 2014 and contested in the recently held Lok Sabha elections.


She won the elections.





Kirron Kher


Bollywood actress and TV show judge Kirron Kher contested in the 2014 Lok sabha elections from Chandigarh and emerged victorious.


Before this, Kirron had actively participated in the 2011 anti corruption movement with Anna Hazare.
