Priyanka Chopra has been ruling magazine covers in India and abroad for over a year now. Not a single month goes by when we don’t see this Quantico hottie on glossy covers. However, her recent appearance on the cover of Condé Nast’s Traveller magazine brought her a lot of criticism than appreciation. The photo, which features Priyanka wearing a simple white tank top with a print that read: Refugee. Immigrant. Outsider. Traveller, didn’t go really well with many. Some thought it to be insensitive and expressed their disappointment with Priyanka for unthinkingly endorsing what might be perceived as an insensitive, classist comment.

Amongst the many eventful happenings, the sad demise of Shilpa Shetty’s father came as a shock to the film fraternity last week. While many Bollywood stars stood with Shilpa Shetty and her family in their moment of grief, even Akshay Kumar, who has a past with Shilpa came for the funeral. Not only that, Akshay even gave her a shoulder to cry on. It was indeed a really sweet and thoughtful move by the Rustom star.
