Lakme Fashion Week is one of the most awaited events of the year. Not only does it introduces us to major style trends but also brings with it a bevy of glamorous stars who further add pizzazz to the grand event by strutting down the ramp for their favorite designers.

The 2016’s winter/festive Lakme fashion week (LFW) held in Mumbai was no different and had several mesmerizing moments of star power on the fashion runway.

Here’s a look at some of the Bollywood stars who set the ramp on fire as they turned showstoppers at LFW.

Kareena Kapoor Khan

Who could have thought that one could completely own the fashion runaway with a baby bump?

But our gorgeous mommy-to-be Kareena Kapoor Khan not only dazzled on the ramp with her newly acquired pregnancy glow but also broke stereotypes by becoming the first B-town actress to walk the ramp for ace designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee while being pregnant.

The Veere Di Wedding actress looked every bit the begum that she is, as she sashayed down the ramp in a heavily embellished lehenga as Sabyasachi’s muse for the grand finale.

Bebo was a sight to behold.

Sushant Singh Rajput

The M.S Dhoni: The Untold Story star marked his ramp debut at LFW this season as he walked the runway for Manish Malhotra.

Clad in a black bandhgala and white Jodhpur pants, Sushant Singh Rajput looked extremely dishy in the simple and traditional outfit.

His cool and confident stance on the ramp stole our hearts right away.

Shraddha Kapoor

Walking alongside this hunky dude was the gorgeous belle – Shraddha Kapoor, who looked resplendent in a specially crafted shimmery velvet lehenga paired with embroidered blouse.

The Rock On 2 beauty slayed with her beautiful looks and stylish walk.

Emraan Hashmi & Son Ayaan

There was nothing cuter than watching this father-son duo hit the runway in matching outfits as they turned showstoppers during the Hamleys’ show at Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2016.

They wore outfits created by Diesel — grey stone bleached denims, striking printed T-shirts teamed with leather jackets.

Undoubtedly, the Raaz: Reboot actor and his son were the best editions on LFW ramp this year.

Ranbir Kapoor

The Ae Dil Hai Mushkil actor made all the girls go crazy as he casually strutted down the runway in a Kunal Rawal creation at LFW.

Dressed in a champagne beaded bundi over a chocolate textured kurta and champagne silk fitted pants, Ranbir Kapoor stole the show with his endearing charm and easy-on-the-eye style.

Ileana D’Cruz

The Rustom actress looked supremely elegant as she headed down the catwalk for Ridhi Mehra in a lovely maroon lehenga with embroidered fountain motifs and an ornate gold embroidered choli teamed up with a floor-length embellished chiffon cape.

Absolutely classy! Ileana won a straight A from us.

Dia Mirza

If there is one word that can define this actress, it has to be elegant.

The former beauty queen took our breath away as she sauntered down the runway in a traditional kanjivaram silk saree designed by Santosh Parekh.

Dia made us fall in love with our traditional six-yards yet again.

Jacqueline Fernandez

The A Flying Jatt actress walked the runway in a metallic Rajesh Pratap Singh outfit and dazzled her way straight into our hearts.

We can’t stop loving this chic and her style.

Kangana Ranaut

We all know that she is the undisputed Queen of Bollywood, and this year when Kangana hit the runway in a Tarun Tahiliani number at LFW she proved that she also rules the ramp.

We loved the black maxi satin skirt, paired with a daring black top and embellished jacket that she wore for kick-starting the Lakme Fashion Week.

Arjun Kapoor

The Ki & Ka actor turned showstopper for designer Sahil Aneja and stole the show in a black leather jacket, brogues and mirrored sunnies.

The actor who will be next seen in Half Girlfriend made a statement with his casual style.

Bipasha Basu

Bipasha Basu played designer Sanjukta Dutta’s muse at the recently concluded fashion event and showed off her ethereal charm in a traditional ivory and red Mekhela Chador ornamented by the rich motifs depicting Assam.

The bong beauty was quite a vision on the ramp in the Assamese ensemble.
