From biopics to thrillers to pure entertainers, the huge cauldron of Bollywood has churned out some impressive movies so far this year.


And looks like the rest of the year is going to be equally fulfilling and promising with the following films slated for release in the second half of 2016.

Rustom


Based on a real-life incident, where Naval Officer K.M. Nanavati shot his wife’s lover dead; Rustom is sure to keep you on the edge of your seat with its engaging plot.


Starring Akshay Kumar, who has already given two hits this year — and Housefull 3, this intense legal thriller is definitely going to catch your fancy.

Happy Bhag Jayegi


Coming from the makers of Tanu Weds Manu, this rom-com too looks like a fun ride. Starring Diana Penty, Abhay Deol and Ali Faizal, the movie also promises a fresh pairing on the big screen.


The trailer of the film predicts that the movie will be cheerful, full of humour, interesting and ‘happy.’ A movie that can perhaps brighten your day in the monsoon season.

Happy Bhag Jayegi


A Flying Jatt


Directed by dance guru Remo D’Souza, A Flying Jatt is a superhero action film starring Tiger Shroff and Jacqueline Fernandez.


As we know Tiger Shroff and action go hand in hand, one can expect a lot of power-packed action from this film. Another highlight of the movie is that it also features Australian actor cum wrestler Nathan Jones as the antagonist.


Now who wouldn’t want to see our desi action stud, battle it out with this huge real wrestler on the big screen?

A Flying Jatt


Akira


Akira is among the many action thrillers that are slated for release this year. However, the highlight of this action-thriller is the brand new avatar of Sonakshi Sinha. The Dabangg girl has transformed from a typical heroine to an action heroine for this one.


Directed by AR Murugadoss, Akira is a remake of Tamil film Mouna Guru and has Sonakshi performing some high-octane action sequences.

What’s really exciting about this forthcoming romantic drama is its unusual pairing and theme, which apparently revolves around time travel.

Look at the trailer of the film. Look at the two young promising new-comers, and then tell us if you still aren’t excited to watch this one?
