Celebrities have always had their hands full, be it with films, promotions, events, or even the small screen. Stepping into Bollywood comes with several perks and often these go beyond just the big screen presence. Lately we have seen stars making their presence felt even on the small screen – to promote their films, judge reality shows or simply as guests. But a trend which rules over all of this is brand endorsements. Since one can recollect, celebrities have been active on television through associations with brands, advocating and promoting everything from cars and bikes to food, jewelry, even oil and inner wear. And dominating the brand wagon are the pretty ladies of Bollywood.

While earlier it was a fad meant only for the A–listers of Bollywood, today brands are increasingly roping in younger faces, some even as fresh as one film old in the industry. Brands want to tap the growing popularity of these youngsters and more so their vibrant personality which the youth identify with. So though Kareena Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif and others continue to dominate the sector, several brands are now turning towards the younger actresses of Bollywood.

Parineeti Chopra

The bubbly actress is only two films old but she has already made a mark in the film industry and also the world of endorsements.

She started off by endorsing Spinz deodorants and has gone on to bag major brands like Nivea, Maaza along with Imran Khan and even Kurkure. Kurkure which featured Juhi Chawla for the longest time has now signed on the young star along with Kunal Kapoor.

With energy as infectious as hers, Parineeti is sure to have many more brands queuing up at her doorstep.

Nargis Fakhri

Nargis Fakhri may be missing from the film scene after her debut venture Rockstar but the actress has some big brands in her kitty. In fact she signed three of her first deals even before Rockstar hit the screens.

The model turned actress endorses Van Heusen women, a premium brand of Tata Motors’ and Parachute hair oil. She has also been signed on as the ambassador for HCL Infosystems Ltd and Fashionandyou.com and takes home a hefty package through these deals.

Anushka Sharma

Here is another vivacious actress who is making waves on the brand circuit. The success of her films has added to her appeal and today she is seen in almost every second ad on television.

Her spirited nature and charming face have made her the ideal choice for brands like TVS Motors’ Scooty, Nivea, Gitanjali, Canon Powershot and Reliance Communications.

More recently she has taken over from Prachi Desai for SOFY and also become the brand ambassador for Elle 18.

Sonakshi Sinha

Ever since Dabangg happened there has been no looking back for Sonakshi. She may have started off as a village belle in her debut film, but the pretty actress has showcased her penchant for style and versatility in the ad world.

She was roped in the as the face of the uber stylish clothing brand – Provogue along with Hrithik Roshan. She has also been endorsing Fem, a leading brand of bleach, along with brands like Dyna soap, Dabur Gulabari and more recently Colgate active salt.

However when compared to her contemporaries she seems to be going slow, taking her own time in choosing the brands she supports.

Deepika Padukone

This leggy lass is among the top grossers and leading favourite when it comes to the endorsement landscape. She apparently even clinched a 6 crore deal with Garnier.

She has made a mark for herself, be it with her films, impeccable style or gorgeous looks. The young fashionista is making it big amongst fellow actresses and represents several big brands like Nescafe, BSNL, Yamaha Scooty, Sony Cybershot, Fiama di willis, Tissot and the list goes on.

The brands don’t seem to stop and she too takes them up happily.

Sonam Kapoor

Though we haven’t seen her in any movie off late, the stunning actress is very active through her brand associations and presence at key events.

Known for her flawless sense of dressing and style, she is the apt face for the international cosmetic brand L’Oreal which has ambassadors including the likes of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Eva Longoria, Jane Fonda and other international actresses.

Sonam has also promoted several other brands like Electrolux, Spice mobiles and also Mont Blanc alongwith with dad, Anil Kapoor. We would love to see more of her on the big and small screen.
