Adele dedicates Golden Globe trophy to son

Los Angeles, Jan 14 (IANS) Singer Adele, who is ecstatic after winning a Golden Globe for best original song, dedicated it to her boyfriend and son.


The 24-year-old won the trophy for writing the theme song for recent James Bond movie "Skyfall" and thanked her boyfriend Simon Konecki for showing faith in her, reports dailymail.co.uk.


The singer became a mother in October last year.


"Honestly I've come here for a night out! I was not expecting this... thank you so much for letting me be a part of your world for a night," Adele said on stage after receiving the award at 70th Golden Globe Awards ceremony.


"I've been p**sing myself laughing. This is for my boyfriend who convinced me to do it and for my lovely son," she added.
