Cage convinced West to change shoot location

Los Angeles, Nov 6 (IANS) Actor Nicolas Cage convinced director Simon West to change shooting location of their forthcoming film "Stolen" from New York to the former's real residence town of New Orleans.

West wanted to shoot the movie in New York, but according to Cage, New Orleans provided perfect backdrop for the movie that talks about a thief's struggle to rescue his kidnapped daughter.

"I have stayed in places like California and Rhode Island but somehow, New Orleans will always be special for me. I would love to shoot for more movies here," Cage said in a statement.
