HBO to make Knowles-starrer documentary

Los Angeles, Nov 28 (IANS) Singer Beyonce Knowles will act in a documentary made by HBO, which will give fans a chance to know her more closely.

The documentary will be produced by singer herself, reports MTV.

"HBO has a history of pushing every boundary with class and authenticity. Some of my favourite shows are on HBO, so I am excited that my film will be part of its bold programming. This film was so personal to me, it had to have the right home," Knowles said in a statement.

Some of the footage will have scenes which will be specially directed by her and the documentary will be aired Feb 16, 2013.
