Holiday


Must say Sonakshi is a lucky girl.


How else would you describe Bollywood career like hers? Jokes apart, two weeks after the release, Akshay Kumar starrer Holiday has already made Rs.94 crore and is still going strong.


And the credit of its sweeping success does not go to Akshay-Sonkshi chemistry (was it really there?) but to Akshay-Vipul Shah (producer of the film) connect.


They have shared a history of successful films in the past.

Jai Ho


Although the film gathered flak from critics and mixed reactions from the masses, but still Jai Ho managed to enter the coveted 100 crore club hitting Rs116 crore mark.


After all, it starred sabki aan, sabki shan, sabka ek Bhaijaan – Salman Khan.


After this miss, all eyes are now on Salman Khan’s next release, Kick, which is all set to release in July.

2 States


One of the very few films that crossed the 100 crore mark, 2 States was a hit not just among critics but also among the masses.


The film was based on Chetan Bhagat’s bestseller of the same name.


The film starred Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles.

Next up in the queue is Priyanka Chopra, Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor starrer Gunday.


The love-triangle made a swift business of Rs.78.6 crores.

Main Tera Hero


David Dhawan gave us a Govinda moment with Main Tera Hero starring Varun Dhawan.
