Mammootty confirms 'Maamaankam' project

Actor Mammootty will be seen in the film “Maamaankam,” which is touted to be the biggest movie in his career so far. Confirming the project, the actor posted on his social media page that film will be directed by Sajeev Pillai. The debutant filmmaker has completed the script after 12 years of research.

Set in the 17th century, the movie will be produced by Venu Kunnampilly under the banner of Kavya Films. The film will have an ensemble cast and internationally-renowned technicians.
