Maatraan is a 2012 Indian movie directed by K. V. Anand starring Suriya, Kajal Agarwal, Sachin Khedekar and Tara. The feature film is produced by Kalpathi S. Agoram, Kalpathi S. Ganesh and Kalpathi S.Suresh and the music composed by Harris Jayaraj.

K. V. Anand who delivered last year's blockbuster 'KO', will be returning in October with his next flick titled Maatran. The film stars actor Surya in dual roles, playing conjoined twins. Maatran is said to fall into the action-thriller genre and has been promoting itself using the tagline 'Sometimes the end is just the beginning.'
A peppy and upbeat trailer was released suggesting that the film's tone goes along the lines of Ko. Kajal Aggarwal plays the heroine, Vivek the comedian while Sachin Khedekar, Tara and Isha Sharvani make short appearances. Maatran was written by Subha and K V Anand, shot by Soundarajan, edited by Anthony, scored by Harris Jeyaraj and produced by Kalpathi S. Aghoram.
Maatran will release worldwide on the 12th of October 2012.
